Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS)

The Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) database and application collects local fingerprints and allows the information to be used to positively identify suspects based on latent or fingerprint data. The AFIS offers a composite set of the ten best fingerprints and the ability to reprint fingerprint cards. The system is integrated with NORIS RapidID system and Arrest Archive.
